I have all academic classes, science, math, english and spanish on my schedule.
Afterschool, i feel i consumed up all of my focus and concentration, thus leading to procrastination or sleep. (I am lazy)
Is my concentration length considered normal?
can you completely focus all day?

I'll tell you this now. There is NOTHING wrong with you. At the end of every day I just want to collapse. Your attention is very normal.

Anyone who can focus all day is abnormal.

My focus starts high (I'm a morning person after I've had my coffee :)), peaks around 11 AM, and starts to die down after 1 PM. I did very poorly in math last year because it was 7th pd., but I have it 1st period this year, and I'm doing great. (But now I've got world history 8th period and I'm doing really badly!)

Sometimes I can jumpstart it in the afternoon with some physical activity (or a nap). But after 8 PM, no real work is going to be accomplished.

I understand completely.. I'm tired in the morning, wake up in time for Chemistry (8:15) and peak around 3rd period or 4th.. Which is History and English, but then my english class isn't too bad most days then I have lunch which energizes me. So then I'm good for teh rest of the day because I have a peppy PreCalc class and Yearbook last period.. Then when I get home I want to pass out, and usually do.. haha

I guess that means I'm abnormal then...

I can focus all day long, even in the mornings when I'm dead tired. Focusing is not a problem for me...

By the time 7th period comes along I can barely focus on anything at all! But that might be because I have math, and it just bores the crap out of me.

I had to learn to focus all day because of all the stuff I do after school. I can't just sleep through musical rehearsals, my director would kill me (I seriously think she might, no one knows how far she would actually go).

no, I definitely have a short attention span. The reason I don't like reading is because I can't stand just sitting there not moving for 2 hours... And I'm usually really tired in the morning, but this year my 1st period math teacher is so whack we spend half of class laughing anyway. Depending on how much sleep i got the night before, I crash in the afternoon sometimes too, but this year I have study halls, and Spanish, which I'm good at, so it shouldn'tbe too bad.
