<p>Hello all you Brownies/Prospective Brownies… I was just wondering- (for those of you who are applying with the paper app.) for the Academic Interest Short Essay (the 1st personal statement you have to do), did you write it in the box provided, or did you attach an essay? Also, how long was your answer?</p>

<p>And another question- is it okay for me to attach all of my essays separately, and just write in "see attached," or do they want me to write in my essay?</p>
<p>I actually typed the essay and then neatly pasted it into the spot provided. It looks good, I got to write a lot more, and I followed their format. Thats what I suggest, and btw good luck from another Brown applicant and prospective French major.</p>

<p>I did it another way, and I'm afraid it might be confusing. I wrote out everything by hand, and if I ran out of space, I downloaded and printed out another copy of that form and continued writing in the corresponding spaces.</p>
