Acceptance letters are mailed!

Shay I applied there RD In early december. By when will I be notified?

I’m assuming this is for Uni of Minn?
I imagine within the next month or so. I cannot remember when I applied, it was earlier in the school year. Also, I used their “gopher application,” but I remember it took longer than I expected. I believe I applied in Oct? ish, and I just got my packet in December.
What are your stats?

Ur stats?

I don’t see why you wouldn’t get in. Your have decent looking stats. Since you applied in December, and you are an international, your admissions decision will most likely arrive later.

Ur stats ?

Can I suggest that any discussions about other schools be moved to that forum?

Received my acceptance letter about two weeks ago!!. Me & my best-friend got in, so I’m for sure attending MU in the fall I’m sooo excited :)

I’m going up to do an overnight and shadow classes in a few weeks. Has anyone else done that?

Pemberley - you’re describing Destination Marquette? I take my son this Thurs for that. We’re looking forward to it. I told him it’s decision time!

D just had a shadow visit last week. She absolutely loved it. We made her take her final college visit a few days later (to Iowa). She insisted on sending in her Marquette deposit the minute she got home.

Congrats on your D’s decision. My D already accepted is waiting for Emerson College & Boston University before deciding. Son is currently a freshman. So if you have any questions lmk!

Congrats, Stacyglow, on the decision being MADE!

My son is thinking about volunteering with Freshman Orientation in August, so perhaps he’ll be welcoming your D!

Thanks cpeltz and newsdrms!

Actually, I am a Marquette grad myself, and since I chaired my reunion last year, we’re quite up on everything. And I was an Orientation Leader! Cpeltz, I sure hope your son decides to do it. It was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. The people I met while doing it became my lifetime friends.

No, I’m up during spring break visiting my Grandma and she lives pretty close so I thought I would take advantage. Destination Marquette happens a few days before I get there.
