<p>When did you send in the application?</p>
<p>Sent in the application last week of October. I live a stones throw from New Paltz, and the letter inside is dated December 15, so they may have only put them in the mail last night and being so close, I received it before most of you who are waiting…Good luck to all, your wait is almost over.</p>
<p>Congratulations! I saw your post on the Oneonta thread and I have the same SATs/GPA as your son, so here’s to hoping!</p>

<p>Congrats! My daughter got hers today too. Very nice envelope with a folder and certificate and all kinds of happy flyers.</p>
<p>Nothing today, but I’m hoping it’s because of the distance! Should I let her know the acceptances are out or wait til the mail comes & hopefully good news tomorrow? I think I’ll keep it to myself. Why make her get crazy as well.</p>

<p>myself and my 2 friends got accepted 
its a top choice for both of them, but i’m waiting to get my other letters before i decide on a school. we all live just north of nyc (about an hr and a half from new paltz) for those of you still waiting on letters. BEST OF LUCK! and yea… its a large envelope with one of those thick paper folders inside lol. and u get a pretty nice certificate too</p>

<p>Our mailman comes every day at 3. Today he didn’t come until 4:30! And yes, there was a large envelope for my kid. She raced home from a friend’s house to open it herself, even though she made her sister tell her on the phone if it was large or small. This knocks Oneonta out of contention, as she liked New Paltz more, and felt the Biology Dept. was much more respected. We have a bit of a wait for the rest of her applications, but it’s nice to have the luxury of the early acceptance!</p>
