I'm from out of state, New York. I have a combined 1150 SAT and a 3.3 GPA. I will have taken six AP courses. I'm on a varsity sport and in many clubs and service centered activities. But I'm still from out of state how would I compare ?

Is the SAT CR+M or all three sections. I would say you’re a little low. Look at this for profile of last year’s freshman class:
Freshman Class (as of Fall 2013)
•Applied: 23,013
•Enrolled: 5,040
•GPA (high school average): 3.97
•SAT range: 1120-1280
•ACT range: 24-29

And this SAT number is for CR+M. Contact admissions to get a real picture of where you stand - anything here is only a guess.

It’s combined so it’s just critical reading and math. Thanks for the help!

^^^Then you might get in. As OOS student you would be more competitive with higher GPA and SAT but you never know until you try. Another thread told how USC recalculates GPA so depending on how your school weights AP your GPA as USC sees it may be a little higher. Again, good questions for admissions.

Thank you so much !

My child got in last year from NY with 3.2 weighted GPA and 26 ACT, plus volunteering, working summers, many honors and 6 or 7 APs, ECs with leadership in some.
