<p>For those of you who got into CALS that’s awesome! I’m sure we are all tired of the anticipation. Haha. I have a question though…does anyone know exactly how the admissions process works? Like, how do they decide which apps to review first? Is it based on when you applied, alphabetically, gpa OML, etc.</p>

I just want to be at that point where all the past forums started getting new posts every day with their status (i.e. “I was accepted” or “I was rejected”…) Hopefully there will be less of the ladder on this forum!</p>

<p>Agh they recieved my app on Jan 21st, and last week they changed my status to “has been moved to your college for final decision” I think it was last thursday, so the 17th? </p>

<p>I’ve been checking this thread often, so I thought I’d finally post. I applied in early January and had all of my transcripts and such in by March. My application status went from the reviewing status to being sent to the college for final decision really quickly. However, it’s been sitting there like that for the last 3 weeks. I emailed the CLAS advisors about an approximation of time between the college receiving the information and my receiving a final decision. They responded with an extremely vague form letter.</p>
<p>I don’t even think I’m going to get in. I just want to know already!</p>
<p>A lot of the smaller programs send out emails or letters first. I know that the Health Science major sends out letters first (I have friends in it) then changes your status later. My major is very small. It is not in CLAS, it is in HHP. I don’t care how I find out though, I am just very glad I found out period, and I am so happy to hear the good news!</p>
<p>I think that CLAS told everyone they’d hear by April 1st for Summer B… at least that’s what the gossip has been around Santa Fe…</p>

<p>I got in during high school in 09, but I had moved here from England in 2005 and didn’t have all my paperwork done so I couldn’t afford to pay international fees.</p>

<p>Tell me about it, I didn’t think I’d be so anxious, but it’s starting to get to that point. Keep me updated though! It’s nice when you have someone who is in your major to see if they get in or not. If you get notice then it will hopefully mean I will too. You don’t really get any perspective when somebody from a completely different field/school gets word back because they’re all different.</p>
