My son received his acceptance today from WWU. Anyone know how generous (or not) they are with need-based aid?

I was also wondering this question… My S was admitted in early November. He is OOS… we are also wondering when he will hear about merit aid. Does anyone know from last year when this information is released?

D got her merit aid letter on Saturday the 4th. She was not thrilled with the amount. They gave her $4000. She was hoping for the WUE. Of the 5 schools she has been offered merit money at it is by far the lowest.

Well, nothing here for my S… it is weird… he was accepted way back the first of November… with a personal call from the director of admissions saying he was one of the top applicants… Hoping for the WUE too… I wish they would let us know something…

5boys- hope it comes soon.My D was accepted around the same time as your S. I was hopeful D would get the WUE. I know just a few years back WUE scholarships were much easier to get.
My D applied to both Montana State and Univ of Montana. At one she got more merit money then the WUE and at the other she did not even get the WUE.
At this point D has heard from all her schools except for Cal Poly and the UC’s. She has heard about merit aid from all the schools except for Boulder. I need to sit down and make a chart that outlines the cost and figure out what each school will end up costing.
