Good morning/afternoon,
I am attending a local community college
Here are my STATS:

Fall Semester GPA: 4.0 (English I, Calculus I, Financial Accounting, Speech, BCIS)

Spring Semester (expected) GPA: 3.75 (Calculus II, Managerial Accounting, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Sociology)

*That 3.75 in Spring Semester is because Calculus II is killing me and most probably Ill end up with a B in there.
*Calculus I and II are not business Calculus (they are regular Calculus)
*Also, That one class "social and legal environments of business" class listed on the business track E is not offered at my college so I couldn't take that one.. Besides that everything I have taken.

OVERALL GPA: 3.875

Application Completed By: March 1st (yea i know procrastinated) when should i hear back?

Resume - Numerous Extracurricular, Volunteer, Intern, job, awards
Essays - Pretty decent ..detailed and very thoughtful but not like the ones that are filled with verbiage.
Recommendation: 1 good one from accounting teacher

So far 16 credit hours so I guess decision wont be made until May or June. Will have about 30 credit hours and GPA (3.875) at the end of this spring semester.

But What are my CHANCES of getting into Mays Business School --AS WELL AS--- General Studies? God forbid, if I don't get in, I'll do Internal Transfer but I don't know a lot about it (how hard is it?). I put down general studies as my second major.

THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS (IN ADVANCE) !!!!!!!!!

common guys... .. so many views but no replies. I am wetting myself with nervousness here.....

Undergraduate Program at Mays Business School

Read that. Too bad that you didnt complete the classes your taking in the spring sooner. That way I would give you a 70% chance to get into May's. Since your indicators aren't done, I would say 50%. As for general studies, I hear thats its harder to get into that then the liberal arts school because there are so many kids they dont have room. I could be wrong.

you are required to have 24hr upon transfer. Since you wont have all those hours until after spring semester is over, you will be denied. But do not loose hopes, at the end of your denied letter, it will also say that your admission will be review after all your spring semester is turned in and accounted for. So turn in your transcript as soon as you can. May's business college is very competitive!!! Wish you the best of luck

hey! I know chances of me getting into Mays are very dim but how about general studies .. not even there?

im pretty sure u will get accepted into general studies if u noted that as ur 2nd choice. after all, university requirement is only 2.75 but still required around 24hr
