<p>Anyone else get this? They called me at home in early March and 2nd Day UPSed me a bunch of letters. They're offering 25K and a spot in the Freshman Honors Program as part of this "Diversity in Experience and Academics at NYU" scholarship. They're flying all of these students in for the weekend of April 1-3, with attendance as a condition of receiving the scholarship. That D-word connotes some sort of AA thing, though I'm not sure. </p>

<p>Stats for everyone gauging their chances:
RD Chem. CAS. Top 5% at a public HS in metro NY, ~1500/720W/700Chem., NASA internship, Hispanic, nonathelete.</p>

<p>I'll be there, can't wait, and not like we have a choice, it said in the letter that you have to show up to get the scholarship. I'm really curious about the whole thing, I wonder what sort of kids are going to be there. My name's Xavier, I'll be the dude in the nerd glasses.</p>
