Accepted to Texas A&M university(2,000), SMU, TCU, BAYLOR (34,00) University of Iowa (60,000) Penn state University. Waiting on University of Texas at Austin (probably denial) (Ohio state university) (: (: (: (:

You should pose questions related to financial aid in a financial aid & scholarships section of this web site. There are many who are well versed in financial aid that can answer your question in detail.

Also you may want to have your parents contact the financial aid office at OSU & understand their requirements. OSU, like other universities that you applied, requires your FAFSA before they can take any action. Please do it as soon as possible.

With your EFC, challenging APs, first generation & minority status, I think you will get lots of scholarships. Good luck.

Quick question? Was it $60,000 a year at the University of Iowa? I’m actually an Ohio resident (in the Columbus area and accepted into Ohio State), but Iowa is my dream school.

Though, based on your ACT score, I’m not sure if you’re eligible for the National Buckeye Scholarships for Non-Ohio Residents. With my composite 29 ACT, I won a Trustees scholarship (worth $2,000). And some of the parties are real ragers, nothing like Iowa though.
