I was just accepted for Spring semester transfer with a $16k scholarship.
Does anyone know how soon I’ll hear about financial aid? My paperwork has been submitted since early August.
Also, how Likely is it to get on-campus housing as a transfer sophomore?
Sophomores are required to live on campus, so you won’t have any problem getting housing. Congratulations on getting into Tulane and the nice scholarship!
I wouldn’t be so sure about the housing situation.

There are many off campus housing options, though.
Housing has been very tight at Tulane the past two years. Many sophomores did not get on campus housing and I don;t think any transfers got it this past year. I would not count on it. There are several facebook pages where students seek apartments, roommates, sublets etc.
Does anyone know how long it takes to hear about need-based financial aid? my documents have been in since early August. just don’t want to pay any deposits yet before seeing the aid
