Accepted with 55 units, possible?

I was accepted to UCSC with 55 transferable units, not 60 since I dropped a 5 unit class in the winter. Of course I got the acceptance letter even after I updated it in the “TAU”. I was expecting a flat of rejection of all UC’s I applied too, when this came by surprise. Is this a mistake on their end, or is it possible to still be admitted as a junior transfer with 55 units? On their website (i cant post the link to show it) it states the “Admission by exception” policy. Do you think that’s what it is? Should I email them just to make sure? What do you all think?

Thank you.

I do think my extracurricular’s/personal statement were good so I’m not sure.

I would just email them if I were you.

Yeah, it can happen. But check. Congrats!

@Ohm888 Do you know if UCLA does this? According to what they see by March 31st I’m one unit short. I added a class on the 5th of April and messaged them right away, but can’t guarantee that they’ll take it into consideration :-SS

You need to make sure they saw it. Re-email them to say that you are verifying they saw that you have 62 units or whatever it is. Don’t just hope.
