i thought that we should maybe start a thread like in years past where we put down our stats and notification to help future barnard girls??? so when ya hear, please post!

All the best to all of you ED ladies! I will be very excited to read about your acceptances!

I did some archive-reading last night and apparently, in the past, some New Yorkers got their acceptances in the mail today..? Christ, I'm half an hour away in NJ, and I came home today all nervous... Nothing, though. I'm not disappointed.. yet.

Eee, but good luck to everyone!

I understand that Barnard mailed their decisions today.

Good luck everyone!

Penndad, what's your source? =)

eeep.

My daughter heard that Barnard had mailed their decisions yesterday (December 14) from her school's college counselling office. The college counselling office had spoken to the Barnard Admissions office by phone.

Our family is hopeful but very nervous.

Well, good luck to everyone here!!!

Hearing that put me on edge all day; unfortunately, nothing came in the mail today, and I live in NJ.

I hate this waiting. Hatehatehate. ):

i love that barnard is traditional but couldnt we get an email or something??? my mail has not come today (yet) but i hope that the letter is there...please please please.

Oh, my! I do wish you all the best!

Yeah.. no mail from me either.. and I'm in NJ..

AHHH.. I thought the waiting would be over by today.. SIGH

My daughter applied RD, but I remember distinctly that we received the packet on a Monday. I think Barnard out the acceptances via 2-day priority mail, or else used express mail - but basically all (or almost all) the RD people received their packets the same day, in various parts of the country.

Anyway, I'm crossing my fingers for you all. :)

The one advantage of applying RD is that we weren't really thinking all that much about Barnard last spring; the Barnard packet actually arrived sooner than anticipated, a few days before the April 1 date we were focused on, so I just casually checked the mail and was quite surprised to see the Barnard packet sitting there.

no mail in alabama today. tear tear.

i got in today! i'm in ny

Congrats to you early decision ladies.

106 days until regular decision letters arrive...
