Just checked at 5pm and daughter got accetped!!!

congratulations

my D GOT ACCEPTED TOO!!!

Congrats to both of you!! Vincanity, I remember when you got in last year, I was so excited for you...you were so anxious in the weeks before. i am sure you can relate to all the good feelings of the new freshman for 2009!

Lol you have no idea how much I empathize with everyone on this board right now. I waited like 7 months from my decision :/. It all paid off though and my freshman year has been one of the greatest couple months of my life. I hope everyone that decides to enroll will have as great a time as I have.

I don't know how I'm going to deal with the wait for the law school decisions in 3 years, nor do I know how I'm going to handle it when I'm waiting for the admission decisions for my children lol. Oh admissions...

GO GATORS!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to you too Lavie choc too!!

I read that waiting for law school can be terrible as well, so many months...lol. How was the preview section for you.

The thing with waiting for law school is that the majority are rolling admissions so it really depends on when you apply. I've heard of several instances in which applicants found out the same week. A friend of mine got into UM the same day lol.

Preview was...a waste. I went to the second one offered for summer B applicants. Before I went, I did my research about classes and stuff so I basically had everything squared away before I arrived. Subsequently, preview became a time consuming and expensive (gas and hotel) formality. It depends what you want out of it though really.

yea, it is on a rolling basis, because some undergrads found out before others with their acceptance to UF Law. When I attended a program at UF, the students said it was a waste as well, very boring, the incoming freshmen are only required to stay one night correct?

Yep, thank the Lord. I didn't sleep for 1 second that night. To this day the worst night of my life. Just couldn't sleep...probably the excitement I guess...who knows

yea probably the excitement, saying..."it is official"-"the letter, preview, now the traditional dorms!" true gator

Hopefully a "double gator" in a couple years :). Wouldn't have it any other way.

that's right.
