8/204 ranking (4.2 w, 4.0 uw)
1360 SAT (610 V, 750 M) and 32 ACT
Decent EC's

Accepted ED and got DSA but no DHS. I would love to go to Tulane, but still the offer doesn't look like enough to justify turning down the College of Charleston at half of the cost.

32 ACT
4.0 uw
EC's (nothing spectacular): mainly student government, volunteering at hospital and church, basketball
Received Distinguished Scholar Award and invitation to Honors Program
minority

in new orleans- i recieved a full scholarship there that will cover everything, whereas with the DHS i will have to come up with about $9 or $10 thousand

if i go to tulane, i am interested in going into engineering, plus i would have the option of switching to a different major if i didnt like engineering. if i go to loyola i am still unsure as to what i would go into- i could go into graphic art or something of that sort or i could go into physics, the options are definitely more limited at loyola as to what to major in, but from my experiences at loyola (my 2 sisters go there) i think i would be more comfortable there than at tulane. i guess i just need to visit both and go with what i feel fits best.

4.0 uw
1350 sat
33 act
not many ec's
very challenging classes
i go to louisiana's math, science, and art school.
I got the DHS and they said that they really liked my project.
TOPS and other small scholarships will cover my room and board.
I'm going to major in electrical eng. and maybe minor in comp. sci.

Azileli, if cost is not an issue for you, then I would take tulane over loyola. Especially if you're going into engineering. You'll be set for employment if you graduate from tulane eng. school.

3.6 UW
1490 SAT
not many ec's (reading, writing, horseback riding, drama)
took all the challenging classes that I could
DSA, maybe honors program but don't know for sure
