Accommodation for fall term

Hi,

I am an incoming exchange student from the UK.

I am looking for accommodation for the fall term. I am looking for private apartments, preferably near the engineering buildings. I have contacted a company called Roland Realty and they have suggested the following locations. Could you please comment on them (safety, amenities, bus services):

309 East Green Street
907 South 3rd street
54 East Chalmers Street
408 East Stoughton around

Also please could you provide an estimate of the following utility costs (sharing with 3 other people):

Water
Heating
Electricity

Thanks for your help :)

309 E Green St. is really nice. Definitely one of the more upscaled apartments. I don’t know about the other 3 but 309 is close to the quad and right on green st. which is the main rode of campus. I would also look into other realtors, like Bankier, (I can’t think of any others at the moment) to get a better sense of what is offered.

Thanks for the information.

Could you comment on how noisy/safe 309 East Green Street is? Also do you have any advice regarding renting apartments from private companies, especially since I will not be able to see the property beforehand?

Regards
