Accounting/MIS Binghamton or Old Westbury?

<p>Now I know Binghamton is one of the top SUNY's, but my parents are very strict and do not want me to go away. I've made some mistakes in the past, but got my act together and now have a 3.8 GPA. I got into both schools, and my parents are pushing for me to go to Old Westbury since it is near home. How can I convince them to let me go to Binghamton? Money is not the issue they claim, it is the fact that they don't fully trust me, however I am 20 years old. I tried looking up loans so I could pay for myself to go but its difficult to get them without a co-signer. I've already tried using the argument that Binghamton is a better school, but they won't buy it. Any advice you can give me to help convince them? Also, can I double major in MIS and Accounting at these schools? Thanks for any help!</p>
