ProActiv did nothing and AcneFree did nothing for me. In fact, it seems a bit hard to believe, but makeup really helped clear my acne up. When I’m stressed I start picking at my face, but with makeup on I’m careful not to touch my face and risk messing it up. Then I wash my face really well to get all of the gunk off. So appearance of better skin during the day avec makeup, with actually better skin. :D

I’ve been using it for 4 years now

I went to the dermatologist and got a prescription for Epiduo. It’s actually been working really well. Before that I was using a benzoyl peroxide cream, but I think the Epiduo works better.

Before I used the Epiduo or the bezoyl peroxide cream I was using a really strong acne wash. It was Panoxyl 10% benzoyl peroxide wash…it made the acne go away but it also really dried out my skin :/.

Accutane kind of failed me. My skin was completely clear when I got off it (6 months), but now, another 6 months later, the acne has come back. Although, I know my diet and the rarity of washing my face contributed to that.

I started having some fairly intense stomach pain in the mornings a couple months after not taking accutane anymore. They actually only have gone away since I’ve taken some over-the-counter medicine every night. I’m suspicious that accutane may have caused this… (And no, I’m not suing them…)

Accutane did work perfectly for my brother though, I suppose I was unlucky.

A lot products used to fight acne contain obvious drying agents (benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid) which completely dry out skin. And dry skin is just as bad at causing acne as greasy skin is!

I complete my regime twice a day. (Morning & Night)
Wash face with Mary Kay 3 in 1 Cleanser
Use #2 Toner (Mary Kay)

2 Moisterizer (Mary Kay)

Then, if I have any zits I use Mary Kay’s acne treatment cream. <–BUT… ONLY on the blemish… NOT on any other skin… THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. If you dry out skin that is not inflamed it will cause more pimples! I learned this the hard way!

YOU DON’T WANT YOUR SKIN TO EVER FLAKE OR DRY! That is my lesson.
Now that I keep my skin properly dried & moisturized I don’t suffer from break outs at all!:)

Clean and Clear morning burst every other day (nonmedicated) along with an asprin-sugar scrub every other week. I used to think my skin would never be smooth but it cleared up :)

EXACT same thing happened to me. My diet is fine so I’m pretty sure stress was the reason it came back. Also, it helps to avoid dairy products especially milk because it contains hormones that can contribute to acne. I was prescribed an antibiotic and my face as been clear ever since. The problem is that it’s a temporary fix :/

Accutane!
Cleared up my face in one week, my back in a few months, but left some scars on my chest :(

Wow, the aspirin mask with honey made my skin feel really smooth.

Thanks futureexecutive

I have mild acne. last week, i purchased Burt’s Bees Pore Refining Mask with French Green Clay…it comes in powder form which i combined with green tea. it made my skin super smooth and glowing. I also bought the Alba ACNEdote set (cleanser, astringent, lotion, and spot treatment). It’s working very well. In addition, i have recently stopped eating dairy products because the hormones in milk are known to cause acne (goat cheese is supposedly fine). My skin looks better every day, not yet sure if the no-dairy thing has anything to do with it. For those with mild acne, i would highly suggest using Alba Acnedote and the Burt’s bees mask. I’ve tried lots of different chemicals from my dermatologist, all of which failed to work. I find that when I use all natural skin products, my skin looks sooo much better (plus, it’s a lot cheaper)

Foundation + concealer.

I only get the occasional monstrous pimple on my face once in a while. I just wait a few days and they disappear.
