16 i think

I don’t remember the answer but I do believe I solved it using a ratio. Pretty sure I got the answer right.

I totally messed up that passage about the utilitarianism guy.

wait @thekongo i got 16 too but i think we could’ve made a careless mistake. was the height of the larger triangle 48 altogether or was JUST the larger part 48 and the smaller part 12? if so then the answer would be 4 x 5 = 20

The hypotenuse of the larger triangle was 48. The hypotenuse of the smaller triangle was 12. The height of the smaller triangle was 4. They were similar triangles because of AAA. Therefore 12/48 = 4/h and h = 16.

Hey when do the scores come out (specifically with writing). I’m so nervous right now.

I think we get our composite in 3 weeks and our essays 2 weeks later bar no delays.

The ACT score is usually available after 2 weeks but you don’t get to see it until three weeks after you took the test. If you are so desperate to see your score, you follow what is described in the topic below to see your score TWO weeks from now. I tried it and it worked; it’s just a little complicated.
