good because i had 50 as the base angle of the isoseles triangles

So could I still score a 31 or 32 with -1 or -2 in English, -5 or -6 in Math, -2 or -3 in Reading, and -8 or -9 in Science?

wow david your annoying....anywyas yeah its 130....and i thought it was 2:1 too...

This was my first ACT, so I technically have nothing to compare it to - however, I would say that it was considerably easier than the Pi day SAT. I had heard that the ACT would probably leave me scrambling to fill in answers from lack of time, but I actually had between 5 and 15 minutes extra for every section. Not to mention that the essay (if you took it) was CAKE.

There were only a few problems I wasn't sure about, but it seems I was right on most of them (like the triangle ratio 1:1, etc) - the only problem I know I got wrong was the cube-sphere one, which I missed because I didn't think about it much.

Oh - what was the answer to the 144-triangle one? I got -7/25, I think.

yeah i got -7/25 too. :D

I think Reading and Science are the only time crunches on the ACT. For Math, I finished it, checked through all answers, and then stared at the person in front of me for about 10 minutes.

I thought it was 7/25 cause it said Quad II

And the triangle one was a positive value, not negative. =/ Sine is positive in the 2nd quadrant.

7/25 sin is positive in quad II

there wasnt a positive anser choice for that answer....i only saw -7/25

no 7/25 was defiantly an answer choice

Meh. :( Oh well, that's still only -2 so far. I can deal.

EDIT: just realized that the 144-triangle problem and the tan=-7/24 one are two different problems. lol. for the 144-triangle, I think I got 144 sin (72).

At least we no longer have to worry about paying for college. TOPS here we come. To the lowest tier state school.

Son didn't bring his watch. Didn't finish math. Math is his worst subject. Will be lucky if he gets in the 20s on it.

At least it's his first take, but not many more chances, since he's a junior.

Wish they'd give it during the summer. Well, there's June, but he'll be in his brain dead mode by then.

That top ten school, whose name I won't mention, is going to get a good laugh when they get his scores. Yes, he wanted me to send them there.

Guess I won't have to worry about being able to afford it now.

lol you sent scores to top colleges even after hes struggling to get 20s in math?

Montegut, if I was your son and saw your post I'd be heartbroken (no offense)..
Have some confidence in the kid..if you don't, who will?
test scores aren't everything...

Was L4 the control?

@RonPaul, yep

Thanks!!!!!!!

Darn. I had like, two more minutes so I put L1.

On the science part...was h2 56? And was the one about comet size 10-20?
