October 22nd 2011 ACT Curve Predictions?

I took the ACT yesterday, and I don't quite know what to make of it. I was trying to retake to beat my 32, but I'm not sure I did....

I personally thought that the math was significantly harder than the last one I took.
The english was about so-so.
The reading was about so-so.
The science seemed easier to me, but who knows...
The essay topic was great! 3.5 pages :)

So what did you guys think of the test and what do you think the curve will be?

I thought the exact same thing. I’m not sure, but hopefully it’ll beat my 31!

I took it in June and got a 27 with minimal prep…

I studied and prepped a lot but still feel yesterday’s test was a lot harder than June’s. I don’t think it’s impossible for me to score above 27, but man…definitely tougher than June…

I agree with you for math though. The last portion was signifcantly harder than anything I’ve ever tested on before.

Yeah… there were 4 questions in particular that I just couldn’t answer…
I knew that the answer to one of them was the summation of 64… but I don’t remember if I put that and I didn’t have my calc…
There was a weird question on a system of equations… and a weird question about rational functions…
I took the ACT in April and got a 34 on the math, and the SAT in December and got a 760… but I’ve never seen any questions so loopy on a math section before…

Dang… I wish I’d taken this one.
