I got a 1720 on the SAT but ive been doing some ACT practice tests and have been doing really well....I guess the ACT is better for me....any advice when i take it

hurry through the science section...in this section you are extremely time crunched so if you dont hurry you risk not finishing...so what i would do is skip reading the instructions and just get straight to the questions...also...don't EVER leave a question blank.

yeah... unlike the sat, there's no "guessing penalty." It's really to your advantage to answer every question.

for me, my philosophy was to keep concentrating on each section, question so that you'll answer it right but when you see there is about 5 minutes left, go faster and start putting guesses down. and yes, the science is time crunched but guessing helps, I scored quite high there.

Bringing a watch is good.

If you're unlucky like I was during my first ACT test, you might end up with a proctor who doesn't call out the time remaining. You could be left with tons of answers unfilled (not even guessed at) when time is called.
