ACT for a senior

I got a 31 on my ACT last year. Should I try to better it this year? If so how should I go about it and what would be the benefits since I've already applied to my schools.

Are the schools even going to accept your Feb ACT scores? I'm just wondering because schools I applied for only takes up to the Dec ACT.

Your ACT looks good, most (i mean basically all) schools will take that score, if you are posotive you can do better than do it, if not, do not waste your time

Some schools will give better scholarships for higher scores. For instance my daughter's school gives @ $2-2,500 tuiton waiver for a 30 ACT. For a 32 they give a full tuition waiver plus close to $3,000 cash - totaling several $000 more a year. She was initially offered the smaller scholarship and retook the ACT and was awarded the higher one. So in her case it was well worth the retake.

You would need to check with your school to see if you could get a higher award and if there is a deadline for getting the higher score.
