I want to go to Wesleyan which wants a 31 ACT score, but I keep getting a 23. I have studied hard, but I need to do something more? Does anyone have any suggestions on that? Or if anyone has anything to say about Wesleyan or liberal arts schools pleaseee do! Thanks!

Are you a rising senior?

I want to go there too. How many times have you taken the ACT? Because my first try I got a 25, the second a 26, but my third time was a 30. I think the third time I was really used to the timing (my biggest issue on theACT). I studied using princeton review. However, I know that some people really do well with a tutor. So maybe get a tutor? And honestly schools know that some poeple just can’t take these tests. However, to get in you do need to bring it up a bit. Try for a 29. I think that since wesleyan is liberal arts it will definitely look at GPA, extracurriculars, and volunteer hours a whole lot, and ACT only factors in.
Also have you taken the SAT? I do a lot better on that, some people just take one or the other better.
