ACT- June 11.

The next ACT date is right around the corner!
Who's going to take it? How are you guys going to spend the next couple of weeks in regards to the test--will you study?
I will study for the next two weekends using PR! Hbu?

Studying my ass off. Spending 2hrs a day, started at the beginning of May. Using the red book, reading cover-to-cover.

Two hours a DAY? how do you manage that with school and even during AP week!

I don’t waste time, and I generally go to bed at around 3AM and wake up at 6AM (During AP Week). And now that AP testing is over I don’t receive much homework, and all we do is watch movies. So I bring my red book to class and instead of watching movies I just work in my red book in the back of the classroom (less noise). I am receiving a score of 36 in every section except the damn English I get like a 28 in that section. It is ****ing me off. Obviously you can tell I won’t be majoring in English in college.

I’m studying for the next coupe of weeks using the red book.
English and Reading are my best sections, so I’m not worried about those.
My worst section is science -____-

^Do you have any English tips for me?

For English you really have to memorize the punctuation rules. For me, when to put commas or not was the most difficult.
Then find some way to keep them in your head.
But the best way is with the practice tests, keep going over the ones you usually get wrong because the same formats will pop up on the test.

What’s your tip for the reading in the English & Science? I usually have difficulties with having enough time to be able to answer the questions about the passages.
