ACT June testers

There are separate threads for each section

[Who vs Whom - e Learn English Language](http://www.elearnenglishlanguage.com/difficulties/whowhom.html)

Look there…I think that explains that both are who. correct me if I’m wrong

What was the answer for question about the girl getting $10 bucks for her birthday?

I’m expecting 33-36 on English, 35 on Math, 29 Reading, 29-32 on Science.
I loved the reading this time! Prose was much easier! But I thought the Jazz one would be easy too… but it wasn’t :frowning:

Yo for the Math, there was a question with the angle being between 90 and 180 degrees.
The answer was arc cos(-24/26) right? since the angle had to be between 90 and 180.

@Innr yes that was the answer

@stanfordcs the answer was 12 I think

Yes I got 12 too.

@StanfordCS definitely 12.

Do you remember what the question was about the birthday? Bc I think I put an answer that was like 22? But I don’t really remember that well

Damn, I’ve always known that “whom” is for objects, but I ****ed myself over and second-guessed myself. Put whom for both btw, which I know is wrong

Yeah I think whom was never the answer.
Question about english, so for the question about the dude bringing radio to the audience determines accessibility or something like that, the answer was “would” right? I mean I crossed out all the prepositional phrases and “Bringing radio to audience determine” (as in omitting “to”) didn’t make sense so I put “Bringing radio to audience would determine”

on the english section, i got no change for the activist question, but after that there was some type of list introduced, i forgot the question but i remember i didnt think any of the answer choices were good… do you guys remeber wut u got?

Does the English section (1st section) get effected by what you got on your essay?

How about we get some sections out that are separate so we aren’t just discussion english, reading, math, and science on all the same thread?

@mtrush i already did that have a look!

:p

here are all the threads:

and then the science section is somewhere…

I just wished we had breaks after every section :frowning: I wanted to snack, ahhahaha,

whats the average curves for each section?

When i took it in apri there were some horrible curves. Is your raw score lowering by 3 for english normal?

That was so much more exhausting than the SAT last week. Having barely studied for this, I’m expecting a 32-33, which I’ll be fine with. Hopefully my SAT score is as good as I hope it will be so I don’t have to worry about the ACT.

English was easy, had 10-15 minutes left to check.

Math was easy but I made a stupid mistake, had 10 minutes left to check. After question 30 the problems were so tedious.

Reading was boring, finished with maybe 2 minutes left. I’m pretty bad at Critical Reading on the SAT so I probably did badly here.

Science was horrible, I had 5-8 minutes left to check.

ummmm i’m thinking i’m just going to pretend i never took this test and stick with my sat score. this was AWFUL! to be fair, i didn’t study, so the trig stuff (from 8th grade!) threw me for a loop, plus i ran out of time on the science-- didn’t get to one whole experiment and guessed on others. english and reading were fine, but by the time i got to the essay i was so tired that it was awful-- no real examples, and my conclusion was 2 sentences. soooooo bad!

I had to go to the bathroom so bad, and after 30 completely lost my concentration. Think I got 7-8 wrong on the math because of it, but overall hoping for a 30 on math and 33 overall.
