ACT not high enough for auto admission. Apply now or wait for my higher ACT score?

Hello, I am in the top 20% of my class. I need top 25% and a 25 ACT score to be an automatic admission at Texas Tech University. I received a 21 on my last ACT, but was dumb and left 1/3 of the answer sheet blank, because I worked through the test too slowly. However I have been preparing for the upcoming test, in which I am confident I will get higher than a 28(been practicing sections timed), shooting for a 30.

The question is.... Do I apply to TTU and other universities now? Or do I wait till the middle of November when I receive my higher ACT score? Do I risk not getting accepted, if I apply now, or do they start making decisions until December? Stressing so bad about this.

You appear to have until March 3 to apply Priority. I would just wait until you get your scores and apply then, particularly if it makes you automatic.

If you miss the 25, write back, and someone will give you new advice.

You could’ve guessed on those blanks. Then out of that 1/3 blank (theoretically gotten 1/4 right or 1/5? ) But still those would’ve boosted your score, maybe even to a 25 :o

Get 25+
