ACT only or ACT and SAT?

If I get a 35-36 on the ACT without taking the SAT, I assume I am done with both the ACT and SAT rite? Should I still take the SAT? Are there any benefits at all?

The only benefit at that point is if you are in the running for NMF. You’ll need the SAT to validate your PSAT scores.

just make sure that you take the essay portion (W) of the ACT to cover all college admission possibilities.

Don’t forget subject tests ;).

Both my S’s only took the ACT (with writing) because they got a 35 - they did take SAT subject tests and one took the SAT after he had submitted all his test scores because it was need to advance to NMF (never sent it to any schools).
