ACT or SAT?

I took a couple of practice tests online and I am currently a sophomore. I got a 31 on the ACT and 1350 on the SAT. Should I go about prepping for the SAT, the ACT, or both? I am typically better at the math sections than the writing and English sections and I do not have a problem with time. I know that the time is a little bit of a problem with the ACT, but I usually finish about 5-10 minutes before time runs out. It would be great if someone could please let me know. Thanks.

According to prepscholar, a 31 on the ACT is equivalent to a 1420-1440 on the SAT. So if your scores for both are consistently in the ranges you’ve written above, I’d definitely stick with the ACT. I also personally think the Writing and English sections are easier on the ACT, but that’s very subjective.

I would suggest you focus on the ACT as your 31 converts to 1390-1410 on the SAT. You could always try the SAT later if you don’t do as well as you hope on the ACT.
