ACT or SAT?

I got two dates to cram ACT/SAT and SAT IIs: October and November. (just in time for E/A)

I'm going to study over the summer. I want to know if I want to study for ACT or SAT. SAT looks better but ACT is easier.

They're viewed the same, FYI. Colleges don't care whether you take the ACT in place of the SAT or vice-versa. If you think the ACT is easier, then study for that test and do better on it.

the best way to "study" would be simply to familiarize yourself with the test. take as many practice tests as you can handle and study your mistakes and even the ones you got right. SAT or ACT does not matter, pcik the one you like better (like being a relative term, since most people don't like either)

Almost all schools take both the SAT and ACT and they weight them equally, so you can take whichever one you want. Take a practice test for each and see which you like better. I personally prefer the ACT because it's not as screwy as the SAT.

My D tried out a Kaplan's practice ACT and hated it. She much prefers the SAT. If you prefer the ACT, go ahead and take it. There are even conversion tables to tell colleges exactly what a specific ACT score translates to on the SAT, and vice versa.
