ACT/SAT... what's good enough... should I retake?

I got a 2270 SAT (740 R,790 M, 740 W). When I took this test, I zoned out on the third reading section I got...
Also, I missed only 1 writing question... I just zoned out on the essay and got a 7...
And I don't know how I didn't get 800 math... that was saddening.

So, I was planning on retaking it, almost assured of significant improvement. Then I got a perfect ACT score...

My question is:
Is it still worth retaking (pros: almost guaranteed better score; cons: stress) or not (pros: no stress; cons: no better score) if I'm going to shoot for HPS? Would two perfect scores look that much better on an app?

Thanks

2 perfect scores does not look any better than 1. Stick with your 36; if a college asks for ALL scores, well, a 2270 on the SAT can only help you anyways. It is definitely NOT worth retaking.

i def concur

I would definitely not retake. A 2270 is a very, very good score by itself, but a 36 ACT is perfect. Having two perfect scores probably will do nothing more than one, except give you more stress that is essentially unneeded.

Good luck and congrats on those amazing scores! :)

Keep the 36 and be really happy with it! The chances of you getting a 2400 are still slim, even with a great retake, so revel in that 36!
