What is the main issue you are experiencing when doing the science section? Is it time?

The main issue most people have with the science section is not having enough time to do it. You essentially only have, what, 5 minutes per section? You have to be able to understand what the given passage is saying, and then derive your answers from the tables/charts. Practice makes perfect here.

after i take a practice test and look at the ones i got wrong, i have no clue why i got it wrong in the first place. Time is not an issue. I finish on time. It tends to be the last question in each science passage that i get wrong, the ones that are more complex

Read the explanations. Do you understand the explanations? If not, you could always ask someone.

I do sometimes but even if I do, it doesn’t help me with my next practice test since it’s not like their was “material” i didn’t know

Listen to 93tiger16; he/she is spot on. Practice really does make perfect when it comes to the ACT science section. Take it from me; my first time taking the test, I got a 29 on science. After a ton of science practice, I got that bad boy up to a 35. It’s not impossible; you just have to commit yourself to it.

I brought my science score from a 24 to a 31 in 2 months just by taking practice tests

Oh i just realized this thread is a year old… Lol hope you got the score you wanted
