i had no idea that the act with writing was required for some colleges. my score improved when i took the act with no writing. will the college accept my score if i also send in a previous score report i took with writing.
ACT has 2 main scores it reports:
Composite: only the multiple choice
ELA: the english, reading, and writing/essay
Colleges will look at your best Composite score (but it will know that you took it twice) and your only writing score.
Yes, it will accept your new score without writing, but they will look at the other act test u took with writing.
Yes most colleges will accept the writing score from another setting. It is best to check with the specific colleges you are applying to. The websites are not always clear about this, so call your AO to get the specifics.
