<p>It depends on the school. You need to check each school's policy.</p>
<p>Send the ACT and the SAT IIs...</p>
<p>If you've taken the SAT I, you can't just send SAT II's. College Board sends them all (I and II) if it sends any.</p>
<p>Some schools will accept the ACT with writing instead of both SAT I and II. To those schools, you can send the ACT alone.</p>
<p>The other schools should get all your scores (ACT and SAT). They will evaluate you based on the higher of the ACT or SAT I.</p>

<p>BU does not consider the ACT science section as an SAT II. BU does allow the submission of the ACT with writing in lieu of both SAT I and SAT II (as do many schools), except for admission to its combined BA/MD and BA/DMD programs.</p>

<p>And I'd bet you good money that you misunderstood, since it doesn't make sense. BU still requires a science SAT II for its combined medical or dental programs. If the ACT science were an SAT II, they wouldn't. You want to believe it, fine - it's irrelevant anyway since with that one exception they accept the ACT in lieu of the SAT IIs.</p>
