<p>So, I just got my essay score back and I got a 10, which made my combined english/writing score a 33, down from my original 34. Will this effect my composite score? What does that english/writing score mean? Will the essay score hurt me since it lowered my original writing score?</p>

<p>I'm really confused about this essay score so please help!!!</p>

<p>No it will not effect your composite score
your composite score is simply the average of the four multiple choice section scores
(add up Math, Reading, Science, and English)/4 and then round up
btw that is an excellent english/writing score! 99%ile easily
I wouldn't worry about a thing</p>
