most colleges accept the SAT and a few SATIIs or the ACT. Is Georgetown the same? OR does the school want the ACT with SATIIs?

i found the information-sorry!

what is the average ACT score though, and how heavily waited are these scores?

I got a 28, which i know is low compared to the average but i think it falls within the range of scores- will this get me an automatic rejection?

Georgetown AFAIK converts the ACT score into an SAT score and all the AdCom will see is the converted or actual SAT score for everyone--so there's no penalty for ACT-only. Based on that a 28, however, is a 1240-1270, definitely near the bottom 25%.

No this isn't an automatic rejection, but I'd try to bring the score up. The nice thing about the ACT is you get to choose which score to send to schools, so they won't even see the 28 if you score better another time. Specifically shoot for 30-31 +.

SAT II's are optional, but strongly recommended at Georgetown, regardless of whether you submit the SAT or ACT. I submitted SAT II's and ACT, I forget all my SAT II's but I had a 33 composite on the ACT, for the SFS.
