TXTeach, hope it drops, but not too optimistic. Sounds like your son will be fine, my Texas daughter, on the other hand, scored 216 so I’m thinking she just missed it.

Son got 237 in CA

80 CR
77 M
80 W

219 was his Soph score

221 in MD…just passed the cutoff, so it better not go up!

I notice that in the past few years TX cutoff scores have been in the 214-216 range until it jumped to 219 last year. Let’s hope for the best outcomes for our kids!

Other than my best friend with a 209, my 194 tied with one other sophomore, making up the top scores ofour class of 580…really quite sad…Florida’s cutoff is usually 209-212 for NMSQT, do you think a 194 is decent to make it to 212+ by next year…? I didn’t study at all or try to prepare for it, if that helps explain my score… It’s been 2 years and 4 math courses since geometry. Any recommended prep books or courses? And hope? :(

I got a 225 international
75 CR (-2)
80 M (-0)
70 W (-2)
Hopefully I made the cutoff
what do you guys think?

You could absolutely make NMS next year! (You just have to practice!) Last year (sophomore year) I made a 195, the highest at my school. This year I bumped my score up to 213, the second-highest in my class (should have been a better score but I made a plethora of stupid errors). I most definitely made NMS, and you can too! WORK HARD!

228 in CA - Saturday test

Critical reading 73 (3 wrong)
Math 80 (0 wrong)
Writing 75 (1 wrong - Ouch!)

236, sophomore in New Jersey so not eligible for NMSF this year. I got 80 CR, 80 Math, and then 76 writing (one question wrong - harsh curve!). Hopefully I can keep up the same score next year!

207 in IL

Critical Reading- 67 (7 wrong)
Math- 72 (3 wrong)
Writing- 68 (3 wrong)

I’m a sophomore, and typically for Illinois the cutoff score is somewhere around 214-216. I didn’t study at all this year for the PSAT, and on math especially, I made stupid mistakes.

80 cr
80 m
75 w

Arkansas, around 205…
We have it good.

222 in Maryland:

74 Verbal (-3)
72 Math (-3)
76 Writing (-1 Ouch.)

Sophomore, Form W (?), Wednesday test

Doesn’t count for NM, watch me fail next year when it actually does T__T

Thank you so much  That really took a load off my chest, and congrats on your score!!
