<p>Hmm… either Columbia is accepting quite a few off the waitlist this year or, by some coincidence, many of them happen to be on CC. In years past, they’ve only admitted ~40 or so… the chances of even this many on CC is kind of suspicious (not that I’m doubting any of you, but it’s just quite odd).</p>
<p>I agree with you wabab. Although I was accepted from the waitlist, there seems to be too many people who were also taken from the waitlist and who happened to be on CC. I have a feeling that they seriously underenrolled because why would they send out the waitlist decisions this early starting from May 1?</p>
<p>But I am not going to complain; this works in our favor. :D</p>

<p>How many of you sent in extra supplements/essays?</p>
<p>I wrote a letter and then followed it up with an e-mail to my regional admissions officer. Honestly though, I think I just lucked out.</p>
