Hi, i posted this in the NYU section but i thought i'd get more responses here. So for Tisch I am making a portfolio. I have everything i need but i was wondering if it is a good idea to send more than the matierals that they ask for. For example, I have my six page dramatic scene written out, my resume, and my dramatic essay about myself. I also have a couple of other writing pieces i wrote. Is concise the way to go? Or should i send all of it to them? Thanks!

You should definitely send them what they ask for - no more, no less. The only exception would be if they say somewhere in the requirements info that you can add supplemental material. They create the guidelines for a reason - they go into high gear in admissions soon, and from experience they know how much info they need from a candidate in order to make the right admit decision. Send your absolute best work (edit, edit… ) Hope this helps. Good luck!
