Additional monies outside of the $11,000 OOS award

Is there anyone out there who received more than the 11K offer as an OOS? If you did, could you please post specifics like GPA, class standing etc?

Trying to figure out if we could make IU work. My daughter isn't a senior, she's an underclassman.

From admissions, 11K is the highest OOS award. There are other awards available from departments and the honors college.

4.0 UW, 32 ACT, tons of ECs , 11k OOS, 4k Hutton

Idavis, did you get the 4K Hutton by writing some essay? Did you also apply for SSA?

D got into UI direct admit to Kelley school of Business with $10,000 scholarship per year into the honors program.
She also got into UCR with $5000 scholarship per year.
She also got into UCI as undeclared.
These are the choices we have and we live in California.
Unable to make a decision, since indiana is so far away and is cold during winters.
Any input on the decision?

Brother goes there and we are from San Diego and he loves it. He is freshman this year and they had the coldest winter in a long time and survived. Loves the school, sports, and city of Bloomington.

Its my daughter attending IU, she did do the Hutton Scholarship App ( due Dec. 1) and the SSA ( due in Jan.).

Thank you. I guess I am asking about the SSA monies on top of the OOS awards. Just wanting to know if she might be eligible for anything over the initial OOS award. sanmom what were your child’s basic stats? Trying to get a baseline of what they offered to others.

As I posted earlier I received an additional $8000/yr from Honors College

I thought the max from Hutton was $6k

A R Metz Scholarship 8,000.00
