Hey, any alumni here?
When do they normally release the admission decision? On 12/15 like most EA schools?
Is that time any different for international applicants?

Thanks.

I really wanted to get accpeted just one more weekish my top fave schol beautiful campus great med progam

I’ve heard two things. I’ve heard the decisions for EA applicants are ALL mailed on 12/15 so depending on where you live, you could receive your letter on 12/16 or days later. But I’ve also heard that decisions start to trickle out after Thanksgiving.

I don’t know anyone who has received a decision yet from SMU, only TCU.

well TCU is crap anyways. Go Mustangs, and I hope Wisconsin kills the Horned Frogs in the Rose Bowl.

i live in texas so hopefully i get it fast!

The admissions decisions were mailed out this week.

@johnangle,
Thanks for the info. But we don’t get email notifications at all?
What about international students?

Were all of the letters mailed on the same day? If so, which one? Please??

On the EA Applicant’s Thread there has been talk of the letters being mailed TODAY December 17th :/!!

im so nervous i dont like how i wait for something then im let down hopefully i get in, not deffred or rejected :(

I know they were working on the packets when I went in on Tuesday to bring them cupcakes to celebrate the end of EA. I’m not sure if they were all mailed at once or in a couple of batches. You should get your letter sometime next week or by the end of December at the LATEST.

A change this year (I even misstated it on CC and in person in the office) is that you get your merit scholarship offer in your admissions packet unless you’re Hunt or President’s Scholar. Good luck everyone!

If you don’t mind johnangle, what were your stats? You seem to be in many of the things I’m aiming for lol

Johnangle…so if you don’t get a scholarship offer in your letter, is there an indication that you are being considered for President’s Scholarship or do you just wait and find out (and how long?) Thanks!

I would say that could be an indication of Prez/Hunt. Keep in mind these offers are never final so you could get more later.

sorry, what i meant was do they specifically mention the president’s scholarship in the letter if you do not get any other offers? Or do they just leave you guessing!?

The hunt scholarship you apply for. That wouldn’t be in the admission packet

Presidents Scholars must have at least a 650 in both math and reading to be considered. Those decisions come next semester (like February usually)

Question!!
I got the provosts scholarship, does that mean I cannot get the pres or hunts?
(act 31)

Question- Did the rejections go out too? Everyone else who applied from our school got an acceptance letter today with money.

yes they did i got one ( rejected _
