Just FYI - I can apply for parking permits this morning. Yesterday, the parking system said it had no record of my netid. AIS is still on step 3. I’m hoping it flips over to step 4/5 today.

mine got moved to 4 today. I assume its a letter telling me to send my spring transcript in by june 1st. I will only have 30 hours after these spring grades are final so it makes sense

Mine is also on step 4. For those admitted, did it take a while to get on step 5?

still on step 3 arggggg!!! now i’m really freaking out

“How could they not have received the applications? What exactly have they been doing for over a month and a half?” -Inter89

Every transfer app. goes to its respective college (Mays, Dwight, Liberal Arts, etc.). They make a decision and send it to TAMU general admissions where they then send out the decisions. When I say they haven’t recieved the applications yet I mean that the people who send out the decisions havent heard yet, not the college you applied to. In your case Mays has not yet released to TAMU admissions there decisions.

Yep step 4… I still don’t have that box on the left hand of my records in the howdy portal.

I talked to an admissions guy today. He said the little note at the bottom means excactly what it says. lol… This is almost word for word what he said:

“That is just a note that we are sending out to applicants to let them know that if they do not receive a decision letter and they got their applications in by the 15th they just need to send in their spring grades and we will consider them again for the fall.”

So it looks like we have been DENIED…

How many hours did everyone apply with? I applied with 15, completing 30 this spring

Jeez I wish mine would move to step 4, but I already took advantage of the options that have opened up for me. I threw my preferences in the parking lottery a while ago and signed up for my sports pass. Hopefully, I see step 4 this afternoon.

I’m on 43, after this semester 56.

I applied with 26 and will have 38 by monday lol… By time I attend in the fall I will have around 48.

For the people that are wondering, this is what I see on Howdy! now:

http://i43.■■■■■■■.com/2ypc0wn.jpg

Maybe the college that you applied to are taking a bit longer to give thier decisions to the admissions office. Not to jynx it, (knocking on wood) I would say your in.

My Howdy portal and AIS has not changed since I got it. I dont know if its a good or bad thing. I guess it means that they either flat out denied me or accepted me.

Same. (too short)

“Please note: applicants who have not yet received a decision letter and whose files were complete by the March 15, 2009 deadline should send an official college transcript reflecting final Spring grades by June 1, 2009 for reconsideration for Fall, 2009”

DENIED DENIED DENIED

ampzor,
your on step 4? Im still on step three and I don’t have a little box like the one you see.

Now I’m really freaking out, I dont have that message. Did they lose my app?

Just got of the phone with Jocelyn from mechanical engineering. She said applications are being reviewed right now and asked me to call her back this afternoon around 330. She said did know what she could and couldn’t tell me but insisted I call back. I’m thinking they just might give decisions over the phone because of the long wait, but probably not.

Wait a minute! I have that box but, Im still on step three! I just called admissions and was told that the only message that really matters is the one in the correspondence tab. Mine is unchanged.

There is still hope. Just because you got that note doesn’t mean you’re done.

were do u see that message blacklag?
