<p>Under the alerts Tab. You don’t have it? It has to be like a mass message given to every applicant regardless of that applicants decision. Because besides that nothing else has changed.</p>

<p>I believe that note has been there for a while. One of my friends who applied to A&M as a transfer student last year heard at the end of May, and he was accepted. The waiting game continues…</p>
<p>FALSE ALARM!!! Called again talked to an older lady this time. She said," We are not able to give decisions out over the phone however, if you’re still on step 3 chances are we still haven’t recieved decisions yet." Almost word for word.</p>
<p>Aero Engineer still on step 3 here. I see the message but I don’t think it necessarily means we have been denied or at the bottom of the list, otherwise they wouldn’t have us send in final transcripts. Its probably something else that will make it an easier process for them or something…but whatever, I am not gonna speculate. </p>

<p>When I went to the transfer session at Aggiland Saturday, they said you won’t get accepted with less than 24 hours. You’ll initially get a denial letter and will be reevaluated after sending spring grades. They won’t even evaluate with fewer than 24hrs.</p>
<p>Yeah ive read that. I dont know why they would move me to step 4 unless it was just sending a letter saying submit spring grades</p>
<p>Step 4 just means a decision has been sent. From what they told us, you’ll get a letter saying you are denied pending spring grades.</p>

<p>ya I’m wondering whether the guys who had a step 5, how long after step 4 appeared did step 5 appear or whether it just automatically went to step 5 as soon as they got a decision. One of those guys got in for economics for LA which is what I want to do and I’ve gotten nothing back, so that does not give me hope</p>
<p>I know someone who got an acceptance letter from Mays on Monday (her last name starts with a B)…I also applied to Mays and have not heard from them yet (still on step 3)…although my last name starts with a T, I wonder if they go through the list alphabetically? Also, if we haven’t received a response yet it could be going to our second choice college? I don’t know why A&M doesn’t publish their acceptance process and specific dates that decisions will be made by to avoid receiving floods of calls—not smart!</p>
<p>jt2009 was she a summer transfer? I think they find out sooner for obvious reasons.</p>
<p>From looking back at the messages on here, it took a day or two to switch to Step 5.</p>
<p>blackag - no, she was a fall transfer…I know someone trying to get into Liberal Arts who is still on step 3 applying for summer transfer, two people trying to get into Science who haven’t heard anything, and someone going into education who got her acceptance last Friday (for Fall transfer)…</p>
<p>I applied to Liberal Arts for the Fall and still on step 3. I don’t thave that message on my Howdy page.</p>
