admission rate wise...

admission rate wise, SD have about 60% , LA about 40%
How come LA is much harder to get in than SD?

Um... because LA is a better school?

more applicants

The women.

for some majors the gap is ridiculous...

i know. i'm an economics major and every time i go to the gap i'm like wth is going on in here

the UCB gap is ridiculous. I think this year it is going to be around 28%.

At those prices, just how do they stay out of the red!?!?

no, because they have more applicants.

UCLA is a better school no doubt... if there was no TAP... UCLA is should be hard as Berkeley...

you must remember "better" is always a very subjective term. however, if you want to look at it at it's face value, then yes, UCLA is a "better" school.

define face value.

the cal license plate frames look better than ucla ones imo.

UCLA is should be hard as Berkeley

yeah. their english department is great too

Berkeley slightly harder for freshamn applicants and for transfer applicants Berkeley much harder

Yea Berkeley transfer rate to their social science department only has a 20% acceptance rate with an acceptance GPA of around 3.8. so to get into Berkeley social science program it is harder than any other UCLA program except Econ and Communication.

How the hell did Berkeley get into this thread?

I think I am the ass the started Berkeley into this thread.

eh

Cal > SD + LA

CAL + LA >>>> SD

therefore CAL = LA

Your math is suspect
