Accepted and enrolled to SAS, with 3.2 GPA from Bergen Community College (I will graduate this semester with an A.A in Psychology), I am a member of the Honors college at Bergen and Alpha Mu Gamma Foreign Language Honor Society. SAT CR/M/W 690/600/710, SAT Subject Tests: French 650, US History 730. Had a 3.42 unweighted HS GPA, with AP and honors coursework. Submitted the recommended essay.
Also applied to Newark, didn’t hear anything back yet. Doesn’t really matter now though.

I was accepted into SAS at NB, Rejected for RBS at 3.0 GPA, 105 TOEFL, international student.
Can anybody tell me what this means
"You must do so by May 1, 2015 or, within two weeks of your admission notification. "
So I have to accept in two weeks, or by May 1st?
Pretty sure that means you have until May 1st or if you were notified less than two weeks before May 1st, then you have a full two weeks to respond. So in your case, May 1st.
Hi Guys! I sent my application to Rutgers extremely late. My check list clear on March 11th, and I was accepted to SAS and SEBS on March 15th. I was extremely excited about this. I am currently a Freshman at Ramapo College.
I have a 3.2 gpa at Ramapo.
My SAT: 1470
ACT: 23
My Highschool gpa: 3.6
I will have 38 credits from Ramapo, but Ramapo uses a 4 credit system.
I was also denied admission during my senior year of HighSchool.

I applied to SAS as a CS major. Finished everything on the 28th of January and haven’t heard back yet. I went to a top public school with a full NROTC scholarship, hated it, got bad grades (2.25 with 31 credits) after my freshman year and decided to leave. Past semester, I went to my CC (4.00 with 18 credits) and worked 25 hrs a week. 3.65 in HS, 2310 SAT and was accepted into the Honors program then… kinda getting worried that I havent heard back yet…
Still haven’t gotten a decision yet. Rather terrifying.
Was waitlisted to SAS with those stats the other day…

Hello, everyone. I was recently rejected by both SAS and SEBS. I’m almost finished with my first semester at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. RU rejected me with my high school stats, which weren’t great to say the least.
I am a Biology major, so my classes are tough. I’m taking the following classes:
General Biology- Organisms
General Chemistry I
General Chemistry Lab I
Journey of Transformation (Core)
University Life (Core)
Calculus I
This semester has been decent. However, I’m probably going to take General Chemistry Lab I in the Summer, in order to receive a better grade. I am also taking the ACT on the 18th. The Summer class will run from May 19th to June 23rd.
Question: If I get a better ACT score this time around (got a score in the low-mid twenties last time), and manage to finish the semester with a 3.5+ grade point average (considering the summer class), what are my chances of being reconsidered?
Can anyone please, briefly, describe the process for transferring to RU New Brunswick? I am considering transferring after my first semester at MU (not official because it depends if I like it there or not). What do they ask to see? And if I have a 3.5 GPA after my senior year with a 1660 SAT, will that hurt my chances of getting accepted again as a transfer? Thanks!!
