Accepted!! Relatively happy

is anyone a transfer student here. I am transferring as a sophomore and next year I will be a junior. Have any transfers gotten their acceptance letters yet? The website says they are going to mail the decisions June-July, but I applied to 10 schools and have been 6/6 so far and I have to make my decision on where I want to go by May 1st. Anyone else in the same boat?

Well, according to my financial aid award I am able to pay $26,000, so UW’s definitely not an option anymore haha. Oh well, congratulations and good luck to everyone who goes!

I was accepted!

@chaut21, if you check out my other thread about Transfer Decisions, I addressed the issue. I’m still having a difficult time waiting for UW, if I get accepted though, I would seriously contend.

@yeahdasme, just wondering what major did you get accepted into?

I was accepted into the psychology department.

You were accepted as a transfer student, yeahdasme?

Late reply, but I was accepted.
OOS, 4.0, top 1% of class… not accepted into Honors program,
Very happy about UW acceptance, sad that the Honors program didn’t want me.

Any transfer students accepted yet? for summer quarter.
they said the decision will be made some day in May. But I really can’t wait.

so does anyone know what the acceptance rate was this year?

The overall acceptance rate was 56%.

The specific breakdown is 65% in-state, 50% OOS and 30% international

My bad, those are for last year. I heard today from the associate director of admissions that it is actually 52%

Nope, not a transfer either.
