I go into UCR and I am going in the fall but I am most likely going to get a D in one of my classes. Will I not be able to go to UCR? And I know I have to email them but I am not sure what to write. It was a hard class and I have no excuse for my grade. I am really scared and I do not want to go to CC.

Email them or call them and ask if you can take a make up class online before the semester starts. This isn’t a guaranteed in, but might up your chances

It depends on the class and what your major is.

However, rest assured that there have been many students that have retained their admission with a D.

Email admit[at]ucr.edu as soon as possible to discuss your options. Also, talk to your high school teacher and politely explain your situation. They might be able to help you out!

Was it math or English - if not your probably fine .

Keep in mind that if you were originally admitted , you got in as apart of the first wave, since a good deal of students turn down UCR you should still get in .

If this was cal or UCLA it’d be a different story .
