Admission survey. (for anyone applying to college)

I'm doing a study of sorts for my own personal knowledge on the topic of school anxiety. This is far from a formal survey (there are no controled subjects, no formalized tests, no random sample selection), but it'll probably result in something more anecdotal.

It's simple. Answer the following questions in as many words as you see fit, but answer carefully:

(1) What colleges have you applied to for Fall 2006?

(2) What is your purpose in college -- what do you hope to walk away from college with?

(3) Have you felt any anxiety during the college application process .. and if so, what are you reason for anxiety?

Thanks in advance, everyone. (:

MAJOR anxiety and anyone who says they didn't go through it, is full of s___.

(1) United States: Bates, Beloit, Carleton College, Cornell College, Grinnell, Knox, Middlebury, Mount Holyoke, Wesleyan University; Canada: York Uni, Brock Uni, Carleton Uni

(2) My purpose is to learn more about myself, other people and their cultures, experience another new culture and broaden my knowledge beyond the 6 courses I had in high school. I also want to sharpen my thinking and life-skills. :D

(3) I was anxious about whether my grades would make the cut since they were speckled with C's, B's and A's. I was anxious about the post because post here in Romania isn't that wonderfully reliable and it take about two weeks or more both ways. My essay wasn't up to scratch, I thought, especially after helping edit some friends' essays. Oh, and I was anxious about whether or not I was requesting too much money because as as international askin' for aid, it gets pretty competitive.

1.) Michigan State University, Hope College, Bowling Green State University, and Wayne State University (in at all 4)
2.) Better reading and writing skills, learn more about the french revolution, be able to think analytically, and do well on the LSATs
3.) Kind of, but not so much. I have a lot of Cs (I got like 4 freshmen yeat) but I also had a lot of As so I knew my As would offset the Cs I got freshmen year. I also had low math grades/test scores.

(2)Most important is just getting the best education possible so that there'll be a world of opportunities when I graduate in four years.
(3)Easily all the prep work for the apps (thank god for the common app ;)), plus the wait period is perhaps the worst thing, especially in a competitive high school environment. Thus, when April is nearing, the daggers are out I assure you, what a pain it was.
