Admission to SOM

The admission rep did not provide a straight answer to this simple question. If you apply to SOM and are not accepted, are you automatically considered for Harpur?

Thank you.

I really don’t think you’re automatically considered which is why I emailed them two days ago and requested to be switched to Harpur to increase my chances for spring.

You can put down a first and second choice when you apply. Though I have heard of people who didn’t get into Harpur and Binghamton contacted them like hey would you be interested in CCPA, even though they didn’t apply to that.

Thanks, Rebecca. If you are don’t make it to SOM, can you still double major or minor in business?

This is probably the page you want: https://www.binghamton.edu/som/undergraduate-programs/opportunities.html

You can’t get a double major without getting a dual degree, so the requirements/process is the same as applying to transfer to SOM. But there is that “management adjunct thing” which is the closest equivalent to a minor.
