I have a question on admission to U Texas for an out of state student. I'm sure it is harder to get in for an out of state student than for an in state student. One question, though. Is this a school where "expressing interest" helps? Are they more likely to admit you if you have visited campus or otherwise shown you are likely to attend if you are admitted? I guess the same question applies to in state people as well - do they try to figure out if you are likely to attend and if they think you are, this makes them more likely to admit you?

Thanks to anyone who can give me any input on this!
